Re: van & truck am/fm radios-any difference

Based on what I have seen, the van AM/FM 'Delco' insignia on the face is in block letters, the '71-'72 truck AM/FM is in script. The antenna cable on the van radio comes in from the side, the truck comes in from the back. I think they interchange.

the back of the radio may be different also which won't allow you to use the rear bracket.

I got this info from him in an email--
The delco is in block letters.
The cable comes out of the bottom, actually

I would say Van based on the lens, If you could see the dial that would tell you too, the numbers are taller and skinnyer on a truck radio but he is not letting you see the numbers in the pic, nor is he showing you the back or giving you the model #. Yes, I am voting van radio.
Those knobs don't belong with that radio either.

It's a van am fm on ebay, but will fit. Change the lens and no one would know without really looking for the differences.

looks like I'll have to go with a van radio since the truck ones are bringing such big bucks.
