Re: towhook id & value
i am just checking on it right now . it has a 400 sb that i was thinking of getting for my project. if i get it i am useing the eng. trans. linkage power brake setup, power steering set up, alt. brackets. it has a rough body but is supose to have good running gears auto trans. transfer case ft. and rear end. maybe a few body parts. it has a good looking back seat and pass. side ft. bucket driver side is wore but they have been redone at some point. brackets look right but ft. seats look a little wider than orig.

Re: towhook id & value
Bill,it may have utility bucket seats which were different (wider) than regular truck buckets. They have a metal back on them where the others had plastic back covers on the blazer/jimmy models.I assume you know the tranny is different as is the tranny linkages on a 4wd...I'd like to buy some parts from it if you do part it out...

Re: towhook id & value
i was thinking the frame bracket auto trans. that is was the same as a bb 2wd. i have had bb trucks with bb linkage 1 had a 350 trans and 1 had a 400 trans. it looked like everything was working good. are the utility buckets worth as much as the other orig buckets?

Re: towhook id & value
Yes,frame bracket should be the same..the linkage from the column to the tranny is the 4wd specific part..The utility ones arent worth as much but are still worth $100-$250 but I think they are more comfortable than the regular truck buckets in my 71...Put me inline for the front driveshaft and some other misc parts if you do get it...

Re: towhook id & value
ok do you have and ideal of what you good use off of it. i am just trying to get and ideal of how fast i could get part of my money back . because cash is short but i can use alot of the parts myself. i am not in a hurry for the parts but when i do need them they may not be there.

Re: towhook id & value
Bill,I could use the front driveshaft, the rod that goes from the column down to the tranny if you dont use it,the metal piece that goes between the tailgate and hatch if it's good, rear seatbelts, the plastic caps that go on top of the door up against the top, front bumper brackets, and some other stuff if I can think of it...
