Sat pics (9-15) Better Look
Well I don't remember if this makes four or five Saturdays in a row that we have had one of the trucks out. Either way I had one out again today. We left out early this morning for the grand run in Pigeon Forge(those pics are here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=1#post2360475 ) I stopped on the way back and shot these. I think these are some of my favorite shots! Hope you like em!

Re: Sat pics (9-15) Better Look
I love the pictures. I would like to know how you find the back drops for them. I could drive for days and never find one like you. Your truck is awsome but the backdrops what really set it off.
There is never anybody in the way when you snap the picture.

Cool pics again, Asa! Where was that place? There is a neat restored Gulf station in Grainger Co., TN.

Re: Sat pics (9-15) Better Look
Thanks fellas! My drop/tire/wheel specs are here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=143835&page=6 . That service station is located in Chattanooga. I only spotted it due to a 67-72 pickup that was sitting in front of it several months ago. I spotted the back of the truck and then I saw the gulf sign and had to go back for a look. The owner apparently houses his car collection inside as well as uses it for an office for his venture business. www.thecarbarn.net I found his sight after a good bit of searching!

Re: Sat pics (9-15) Better Look
I just helped my father-in-law dismantel his 1928 Wayne gas pump labor day weekend. He is getting the sheetmetal sandblasted and repainted. Red. He bought a Texaco globe for the top. It looks identical to the one in your pictures.
He has had people pull in the driveway and demand that they sell it to them before they leave. His usualy reply is, "If I sell the pump I'll spend the money. Then I won't have the money or the pump." His dad bought it from the contractor that paved the highway. In 1947. They used it to fill the lawnmower up until 10 years ago. Search on the google for "Wayne gas pump". You'll blush when you see what one of them would set you back. We're talking multiple sets of 1972 only tow hooks.
