Temp Gauge Wire

I need to run new wire from my temperature switch on the engine block to the temperature gauge on the dash. Is there a specific type of wire I should be using, or will a standard 10 or 12 gauge wire work?

Re: Temp Gauge Wire

Actually you only need a 14-16 ga. wire for something like that, very little current draw.

Re: Temp Gauge Wire

I think this wire needs a heat protective wrapping as it comes really close to the manifolds too.
