Dakota Digital Dash

Has anyone had any experiance with the digital instrument clusters from DAKOTA DIGITAL? If so how hard was the install and how well do you like them?

Re: Dakota Digital Dash

I am on the fence about those -- they have been on the market since the late 80's without any updates that i can see. Kind of like staring at an alarm clock. I think they are cool, but look a little dated in that respect, but what you like in your truck matters more than what i like in mine.
The autometer dash conversions some of the board members have posted up look nice too, but the Dakota is attractive because its plug and play without having to fabricate anything.

Re: Dakota Digital Dash

I just found this website yesterday and am thinking about ordering up their product along with the blue L.E.D.bulbs for mine. I just found the neon light rope local here in Anchorage.
www.whitegauges.net
They're the same ones they sell on Ebay for $20.00 +frt.

Re: Dakota Digital Dash

Those look pretty cool --- for $20 i can try them on my beater --- i , too wish someone would sound off about them good or bad ---------

I cant believe nobody else has any Dakota digital experience though -- i wanted that dash setup bad when i was a broke college kid with a dusty GMC project

Re: Dakota Digital Dash

I have dakota digital for my air ride and it works great. It's simply plug and play. Gauges can be a little hard to read in the sunlight though.

That's what I was thinking too and up here from early april until Mid September the sun is up more than 17.5 hours a day.

Re: Dakota Digital Dash

i like white gauges ive seen them in person seen them istalled and seem to be easy enough. and if you dont like them down the road they will come off just as easy. So ive been planning to get a set for my truck and my chevelle. so if you needed a good word im all for them.

Re: Dakota Digital Dash

I sell the Dakota Digital dashes and one is going into my website truck. It is pretty easy to hook up. There are people on my board that have put them in also if you want a objective opinion.
