Dropping the tranny
How do you remove the long gear shift on the granny gear 4 speeds?
I'm going to swap cabs and I can't get it off! Help! Thanks in advance! Showdog |

You need to push down and turn counter clockwise the metal cup at the base of the shifter, it only goes about a 1/4 turn. Then it pops up and you can lift the shifter straight up.

To help on installation, make sure it's in neutral.
