Does anybody know of a patch panel to cover the spare tire cutout on my 68 step side. Thanks

Re: fender patch panel
As far as I know, there are NO patches for stepside fenders at all
I think ones for the bottoms of the fenders would sell well?

Re: fender patch panel

I think I can fix them without a patch, but time was a major factor when I was painting my truck. You can kinda see that the fender bottoms looks "fat", that's bodo over rust. Yes, I'm the one who did it, I was 16 at the time (10 years ago.) Other than the rust on the bottom, the fenders are perfect and straight! How about it tri-pro automotive? I kept my original doors too. When I get a home with a garage, hopefully soon, I'll start practicing my welding skills, which aren't too bad....

Re: fender patch panel
on my 69 step i bought a good used fender or i should say most of it is good. the previous owner tried to fill the hole for the light and did such a horrible job of it. now i'm looking for a patch panel so that i can have the light hole back. otherwise the fender is straight.

Re: fender patch panel
I don't own a stepside but if I ever did buy one it would HAVE TO HAVE the fender mounted spare that is my favorite thing about a stepside , I can just see it ,,,,,,,,, maybe a blue truck with the steel wheel's painted blue and a hubcap on the spare ,,,, COOL !! COOL !! COOL !!!

Re: fender patch panel
Thanks for the input. I was going to put a sportside on the 68 but I've decided to find a good left rear fender without the spare cut out.

Re: fender patch panel
I've heard that you can take the step off and turn it over.
