Took all this off my truck and went with serpentine setup.

is the asking price fair, or what? I am just trying to get this stuff out of the garage. Should I "single" the parts? Ship them?
Let me know, I'd hate to just take this stuff to the dump next Saturday. Got a lot of stuff in the garage to get rid of.

Man, surprised this isn't getting at least SOME interest. Let's talk AC hoses, didn't see them in the pics. I'm guessing you're talking about the two lines that are connected together at that little dual header connector that bolts on the back of the compressor, and one runs across the top of the engine as a rubber hose to the accumulator drum, while the other is mostly tubing that runs across the top of the fan shroud and connects to the condenser coil next to the radiator on the passenger side? At least that's how mine is, I have an '84 with a 305 and that same compressor. Is that the hose assembly you're talking about and how it's laid out?

I don't remember if my compressor is any good or not now, but since R-12 is so hard to get, when I re-do the system, I'm thinking about going with a new compressor and accumulator and switching to R134. My guess is the shipping would be pretty hefty on something that heavy anyway. How long has it been off the vehicle and left open to the atmosphere? And is there a three digit number on the side of it? I think mine is a 189, but I'd have to look to make sure.

it's been off for about 3 months. I have had them in one of those plastic tubs with the lid closed in my garage since.
I'll look at the #'s later and let you know.

Cool. If the AC hoses are in good shape I want them, unless shipping cost ends up being something outrageous. They aren't heavy, but since one of them has a long section of aluminum tubing, might make for an oversized box or something. My zip is 77070.

I'll see what's up with the compressor when I get home. Other than not being charged anymore, I don't remember if the clutch was bad, or if it was locked up or just didn't cool when it was charged. The number I mentioned is just a big 3 digit number on a sticker on the side. I'll also check with a neighbor that does AC work to see if he can get his hands on some R-12. Will have to see if it's worth adding the extra wight and freight to the box.

Thanks for the pics! The hoses look like they might take a little bit different path, but that doesn't matter if they end up where they need to. I'll take a close look to make sure when I get home from work.
