looking for my brothers old truck
im looking to see if i can find my brothers old truck. he built it in high school. it is a 69 swb with a 72 front end. when he sold it it was lowered with 15 inch weld wheels beautiful black paint. had no chrome or wood trim on it. had a 350 with a super victor intake, dual 3 inch exhaust to flowmasters. interior was grey tweed with a mid 90's grey bench seat out of a chevy pickup. full set of black faced autometer guages in the original 69 cluster. this truck was perfect. show winner back then. it was about 12 years ago and he sold it to the guy/kid at rainbow fields between riverbank, modesto, and oakdale, ca. if anyone has any ideas or possibilities please let me know.

Re: looking for my brothers old truck
you might beable to go to the dmv in your area and ask for them to do a trace of you brother truck title they might give you the current owner of the truck.

Re: looking for my brothers old truck
The DMV idea is a good one but you probably should contact the California DMV (I don't think states share records) at http://www.dmv.ca.gov/contacts/contacts.htm
I think you may be able to give them your brother's legal name that would have been on the title and may be the address that would have been on the title at that time then pick the vin up from that list (if they can / will do the search) then search the vin's records. my .02 Tim
