Re: OCHER fans i need help

Sorry, I love the color but haven't memorized any of the paint codes. And as luck would have it, my only paint chip book covers years 1967-1970.

Re: OCHER fans i need help

for a color that was only available 2 years it certainly wouldn't be the fastest moving paint can on the shelf.

Re: OCHER fans i need help

I have the PPG code, but the Burb is in the shop. As soon as I can I will send it over to you. I didn't paint it but I assume it is the right one. It is the same as Andy's Burb

Re: OCHER fans i need help

I just looked at my 72, and it is paint code 511. I has some paint mixed a few years ago for my rear bumper gravel shields and the just made it off the code. It matched just right.

Re: OCHER fans i need help

Not to hijack this thread, but were the rear bumper bracket guards/deflectors painted from the factory? I am replacing my diamond step style bumper with a factory rear bumper and all extras next weekend which will include the bracket gravel guards. If they were painted from the factory, I will paint also. They just come in black and never any mention of painting when sold, so I always figured they just stayed black. Please advise. Thanks!

P.S. mine is a ochre and white two tone 71' Super Cheyenne. Would they be ochre or white if painted?

Re: OCHER fans i need help

the little pan that goes between the bumper and the body?
I've only had 2 trucks with that, and the only non black paint on them was the over spray from quickie paint jobs.
They may have been replacement bumpers/pans though i guess.

Re: OCHER fans i need help

There`s only one Ochre. The Auto Color Library chip may not match, but there`s only one code.
