What's your favorite 67-72 Front End - Chevy or GMC?
OK - this is the up to date current official results for this year.
Vote, and lets see where this stands for the current members. It's been done before, it'll be done again. What' is it? Chevy or GMC - basing it on 1967-1972 ONLY! Pics? DLB Last edited by Orange; 06-13-2008 at 04:09 PM. |

Re: What's your favorite 67-72 Front End - Chevy or GMC?
I'll have to vote GMC, 'cause that's what I have. But, I do like the Chevys. I just didn't want to change to a Chevy front. Wanted to keep it original.

I voted Chevy ('67-'68) but I'm working on a hybrid project...a '67-'68 grill.....with 4 headlights.

I like the ones from Chevrolet the best. That´s the main reason I looked for a chevrolet.

I own a GMC, but think the Chevy looks cleaner. Certainly not to the point where I would lower the value of my GMC by putting Chevy grille and tailgage on there, though.

Re: What's your favorite 67-72 Front End - Chevy or GMC?
I have always been a Chevy guy, but maybe we all just haven't seen enought GMC grilles to make an honest judgement.
If you have few pictures of GMC frontends-post them so we can really see the difference between a Chevy and GMC. Brian

This board is full of pictures of GMCs. Take a look around and see them all you want. No need to post them on this thread, is there?

Re: What's your favorite 67-72 Front End - Chevy or GMC?
For years, I liked the 69/70 GMC grill best
But the last 2 years or so, I've been leaning towards the 67/68 chevy nose. My 70 chevy longhorn has a 70 GMC nose, and my 72 chevy burb is getting a 68 nose. |

Nice.
I like the 69-70 GMC front ends better than my 71-72 style. But even still - the '67 is the best. DLB |

I for one vote GMC they are just cool and dont follow the traditonal single or top and bottom head light setup. That and the the cross hair that makes the grill is just intimadating. to some

I love the dual headlights. GMC gets my vote, even though I have a Chevy.

Re: What's your favorite 67-72 Front End - Chevy or GMC?
I like them all. But,seeing a nice truck, then that it`s a GMC just adds something to it.Like seeing a nice Chevelle only to realize it`s a Canadian Beaumont.
