Throttle cable
Hey guys. Im finishing up the reassembly of an 87 R10 pickup I got. The original motor was a 305 TBI motor which died and was missing before I got it. I'm installing a 355 and a 4 barrel carb setup. The issue I'm having is that the throttle cable is too long and I have to put a loop in it, causing it to bind.
I was wondering if anyone had a lead or a PN for me to pickup a throttle cable out of a 86-down V8 carb'd pickup. Or if anyone has one laying around. I dont feel like spending $50 on a lokar. Any suggestions? Thanks Nick |

Re: Throttle cable
How long is that cable from the firewall to carb? Right now, I have a big loop and obviously dont wanna order another one like I already have.
Thanks, hopefully that PN will work for me. Nick |

Re: Throttle cable
This is the new cable and as you can see it has loop around the cruise control Servo, there is no binding and with the new cable it's a lot smoother when you push on the pedal, the old cable was harder.
