Turbo 350 vs. Turbo 400 crossmember
Are the cross members different? or is it just a matter of the mounting holes for the cross member being further back on the frame ?

Re: Turbo 350 vs. Turbo 400 crossmember
Crossmembers are the same. It will need to be moved to mount up with the trans mount. You may also need to drill a hole or two. I had three line up on mine when I went to a th400 from a th350.

Same exact crossmember, different locatin. The 400 is about 5-11/16" longer to the mount.

Re: Turbo 350 vs. Turbo 400 crossmember
Thanks guys. The RPO sheet on my truck indicated that the truck originally came with a Turbo 400 but when I bought it, it had a Turbo 350. I was looking to install a 700R4 or 2004R which uses basically the same cross member location and if the holes are already there then thats one less thing I have to worry about. I'll have to get under the truck sometime and see what I got.
