Re: Ralleye Wheels
There was a wheel made in the late 80's and early 90's that was kinda like a Rally, but is its considered a real Rally. It is the closest thing to an 8 lug rally wheel though. Here is a pic of them.

Re: Ralleye Wheels
Actually,it was the "only" rim offered on 88-00s.The base came with a black center cap and no beauty ring. The upgrade was to get a chrome center cap and beauty rings.Alloys on 8-lugs never happened until the new millenium.

Re: Ralleye Wheels
good point.
One thing about those rims, they are 99% of the time a total PITA to remove. GM made the center hole, where the hub comes out, a REAL tight fit. |

Re: Ralleye Wheels
Those late model wheels, that some of us call "ralleys", are a nice upgrade for our 3/4T trucks. They are a real low maintenance wheel with the SS rings, chrome plastic caps and tough paint.

Re: Ralleye Wheels
I have some 15" 8 lug wheels on my 69 but I think thay will only work on drum trucks and not with the disc.

Re: Ralleye Wheels
They`re all over the place if you start looking.Finding clean rings and centers(w/mounting hardware)is a little harder. But,you can get those new.Find a guy that took them off to mount custom wheels.Alot of people think these are ugly or just too plain.I`ve left mine on my`92 since new. It`s gone from,"when ya gonna get some better looking wheels?",to,"hey, nice older truck".
