Mirror Question

Anybody have problems with the their sport mirrors? On the '70 I just bought the pass. side mirror won't tilt in enough to be able to see the area that need sto be seen. I've looked to see what's causing the interference, and all I can tell is that the ball and socket in the center look like they are rotated in as far as possible. Anybody ever run into this before?

Re: Mirror Question

The Passenger Side Mirror Set Futher To Be Back Of The Door. You Have To Measure One That Is Factory Mounted Mirror. That Is The Problem You Are Having. I LEARNED THIS FROM SEETEN. I ALMOST MOUNTED MINE IN THE WRONG PLACE

Re: Mirror Question

I followed the instructions that came with my mirrors, and the passenger side one is further back, but I am having the same problem.

Any other suggestions?
