Bucket seats ?

I just bought a 71 chevy for the bucket seats. I was going to stash them for a future project, but I think I will put them in my 72 burb since they are both blue.

Did burbs come from the factory with buckets and if they did, are the seat brackets the same as truck brackets or are the more like blazer seat brackets? ..............Thanks Jason

I am not sure but non of our trucks came with swival buckets. Those type trucks are much new than 67-72. Maybe I am misreading your post?

Re: Bucket seats ?

Yes,Suburbans came with the same buckets offered in trucks in any given year with the same mounting. The 67/68 "Buddys" had something different for the center backrest because of no back wall to rest against. But,that`s not what you have.

Re: Bucket seats ?

I have a set that came out of a 71 burb. They have the truck brackets on the bottom, and are finished off on the back like a blazer. Pass. side is stationary...

Re: Bucket seats ?

I think the swivel seats are out of the campers if I'm not mistaken. I could definately be wrong.

Re: Bucket seats ?

As said, the 69-72 burbs with bucket seats had the stationary passenger side bracket like the trucks but the plastic backs like the blazers/jimmys.There weren't swivel seats stock in 67-72s trucks, etc, they have been added later. They could be from a RV or Camper.

Re: Bucket seats ?

Thanks for the info all. I have some plastic backs from a 75 blazer that should be the same for 69-72 so I should be good to go.
