Coil Over Shocks Vs Air Shocks
I want to beef up the back of my truck in order to allow it to pull my car trailer. The stock shocks on there do not come close to doing the job. What would be better some nice coil over shocks of some air shocks??

Re: Coil Over Shocks Vs Air Shocks
Neither one. I would put a set of the small helper air bags. They can be adjusted to accommodate the load your pulling and won't have a negative affect on your ride when not towing...

Re: Coil Over Shocks Vs Air Shocks
i agree with not trying to use shocks to do the springs job. the shock mounts are not made to carry a load.i would use the helper bags or auxerly helper leafs or just a fresh set of springs. remember that the trailer axels are suposed to carry the weight not the truck, meaning you don't have to put the vehicleas far forward on the trailer as it will go
