mid shaft bearing
Can anyone tell me if the mid shaft bearing in my lwb will hold up to a built big block?

Define "built".
If you are looking for an 11 second 1/4 mile...I wouldn't try it. If you are making a torque monster tow rig, go for it. The carrier bearing will handle all the power you can toss at it, it's the RPM's that'll kill it. The torque will mess up crappy U-joints though. ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350.
