I am so wanting to do something like that on my step! Ironically, I was thinking of this subject a day ago, so I'm glad hooker got it going.

okay, I know this is broad question, but is there anything special (technique/paint selection) that is vital? is chalk with a clear possible??

My grandparents owned a small neighborhood grocery store int e 50,60, and 70's that would deliver groceries to the surrounding area. I would love to have the doors done up with the store name, the old phone#, etc.

if i remember right...the Little Rascals truck is sitting on a Monte Carlo frame? i thought i read that over at www.stovebolt.com

and the Hickam sign was just in a write up of Ol' Skool Rodz magazine. pretty good explanation of giving it an aged look. i like it.

Hickam truck turned up again in Canton last night. No idea why they felt a need to put a plate that read "shop truck" on the front of it. I also think it looked better without the bedcover, but it's not my truck.

The Hickam truck says shop truck on the front tag. What is it like? I've always like those cast center Americans.
