lift a 69 chevy 2wd?
is it possible to LIFT (not lower) my 2 wheel drive 69 chevy? i know there is spacers that can be put under the coils to lift it like 2 inches or so but is there some way to get more of a lift? i was thinkin about puttin coilovers in the front and making my own control arms (unless someone makes control arms for the truck) and make some shock towers (also with coilovers) in the back and make it long travel is any of this possible?

if you convert the crossmember to 73+, you'll find more choices... fabtech for one... a couple of us went over this last year... prerunner, me and someone else from spokane... superduck, maybe? i have some sort of a list of parts if you're interested. not sure if i kept the part numbers or not...

Re: lift a 69 chevy 2wd?
I had a 73 in highschool I lifted. By replacing the front coils it evened it out and raised the front pretty easy. Blocked the back and put 36ers on it. Looked good until I grew out of it... Now Im an old fart.
