License plate bracket question

I've got the reciever hitch welded up for my blazer. Its behind the license plate bracket/holder.... I've seen a flip up plate before. Is this something readily available or something I'm going to have to fab?

Re: License plate bracket question

You can get it from Brothers trucks new or.... you can go to the junk yard and get it of an old Chevrolet passenger car that fills up behind the License plate. Like Fire birds, Monte Carlo's Buick Regals Olds Cutlass. these type All it is ....Is a flip down license plate holder so you were able to put gas back in the day.

Re: License plate bracket question

I think sites like JC Whittney sell similar type deals, but I don't know how they fit on our trucks.

Post some pics of your hitch when you get a chance.

Re: License plate bracket question

When I bought my Early Classic hitch I bought the kit that had the flip-up with it. They sell it separately as well.
