strange towhooks?
Hey Guys, This is the second set of these tow hooks I have taken off a truck that I am pretty sure are not stock. The first set came off a 69 4X4 and the second set came off a 70 4X4. Thought maybe someone here might know? Thanks Rick

Re: strange towhooks?
I think they were OE on C 40 & bigger trucks. They look like the ones I've seen front & rear on school buses too.

Re: strange towhooks?
They are a generic big truck hook. That`s what makes the factory hooks so desireable. They were actually made just for our trucks, like a tail light lens or horn button, yet only ordered on some.It wasn`t an important option since you could just go out and bolt any old hooks on if you needed them.

Re: strange towhooks?
I need to find me some cheap tow hooks. There is just way too much green involved for the correct hooks.

Re: strange towhooks?
Look in truck junkyards or just off of old trucks.TSC has those "Jeep" hooks we always used.
