finally get to start
Hi Gang,
I have week off, due to the "use it or lose it" policy at work regard left over vacation time. Wow...a Paid week to work on my latest project.. and great timing too. Just finished refurbishing the garage, insulating it, new plywood walls ( more durable the usual wallboard), added new lighting, fresh paint, cleaned out the jnk and trash, then moved the mower, lawn tools, bikes and assorted stuff to my new shed and suddenly , I actually have a usaeable garage !! So now I have a loaner engine hoist, to install the engine into the truck. Got a parts cleaner for christmas from my son, and a friend is loaning me his bead blaster cabinet. I have 85% or more of the parts I need. I am currently searching for a pair of front fenders (plain), and finalizing my color choice. My first choice is Hugger Orange. New Heddman headers came yesterday. Have the Flowmasters. Now if I could find a buyer for the diamond plate flat bed, or swap for a good condition stepside bed... Then some decent tires and it will be done. Makes a difference when you have everything right there. Should be able to make a lot of head way on this truck this week. Hope to have it completed by the end of March ( yes, I actually think I can do it). Let Y'all know how it goes. Probably have questions as I go along. Michael |
