V8 Swap...What should i do about the driveshaft

i have a 67 c-10 swb and i am swapping in a 350/ th400 out of a 72 gmc long wheel base........was there a short wheel base with this set up so that i can just buy a used drive shaft?......do i have to have a driveshaft made?....can the driveshaft out of the 72 be shortened?...if so do i still use the carrier bearing out of the 72?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...i'm new to this board and c10's

Re: V8 Swap...What should i do about the driveshaft

welcome to the board

you dont have the original shaft from your truck? if you do you could take it and have the proper yoke installed or have the 72shaft done up to fit

or you could advertise on WLNG swap and shop for one too
