So Tx. What kinda plans do you have in mind for it or is it too early to say? Fired the engine up yet?

I drove it about 30 miles home yesterday. I did have to stop once to add water though.

My radiator is in radiator jail (radiator shop) over the weekend. I'm going back with all new hoses, belts, thermostat, waterpump, all cooling stuff.

First comes all new belts, hoses, battery cables, fluids, and any other maintenance items.

Other plans are for a set of cheap chrome wheels with less backspacing to make them stick out further than the late model wheels do. Probably chrome mods or some chrome wagon wheels. If I could find some, I'd really like slot mags.

I already put my tool box into the bed.

Maybe some better mufflers then.

Re: So, I bought this truck today...

Definitely a good deal, especially since you were looking for a 3/4 ton anyways! Nice score!!

Great find there.Had me one alot like it,too(incl.leaf/Dana).I`ve show pics around.I may still be able to get my hands on the slots that were on my old truck. They were 8.25x16.5 & 9.75x16.5.I ran 9.50s up front and 12.50/33 all seasons on back.

Thats funny - i have been searching e-gay for something similar too -- have a preference for Alpine though, and has to be shaft style (i may be looking a long time)
