Tonneau cover from Jim Carter's

Jim Carter sell a Tonneau cover that uses the frame system, but instead of clamps it looks like you clue the rails to the truck...which I'm not sure I like. Has anyone installed one of his covers and if so is my understanding of how it mounts correct. also if any one has some pics to show the quality of it that would be greatly appreciated. I asked them for pics but they could not provide any

Thanks

No experience with those but I recently ordered one of the Tonneau Masters for my dad's 70' for Christmas from Truckchamp.com. It's really nice and I got it for about $169 delivered after using a coupon. 70GMCer has one on his truck and it's nice quality! Free shipping too:http://www.truckchamp.com/index.asp?...D&ProdID=29268

Did you ask Carter`s how it fastens?I was going to buy one,but haven`t yet. He`s the only one I`ve seen to offer a frame type in any color you want.He carries quality goods and is one of the good ole boys in the business.

Re: Tonneau cover from Jim Carter's

I did speak with their customer service and they couldn't give any more info that what was in the catalog. I could find someone that had some addtional info that would be great, that's all I'm looking for. I've spent alot of time looking and he is the only one that offers the frame with the chrome snap look and that's what I want, I just would like to have th option of removing it without having a perm frame on the bed...the perfect world.

Re: Tonneau cover from Jim Carter's

I just put on the tonneau master (with clamps) and really like it. It's simple, fits good and I like the old school look.
I can't imagine any glue that would old a snap rail in place...
