Measurement Needed: Rear cab mount - Front Bed mount - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Can someone measure the center hole of the rear cab mount to the center of the hole on the front bed mount. (frame length between the two.) I need to mount the bed onto a bare frame.

(SWB ... But I dont think that matters)

I laid a straight edge across my frame, centered the rear cab mounts and measured 7 1/4" to the center of the first bed bolt. Is that the measurement you needed?

Yup.

Also, do all the mounting points on the bed line up on the same horizontal plane? ( If so, I assume that plane is parallel to the ground.)

I think it would be parallel to the frame, most trucks slant toward the front. The bed should match your body lines.
