Rattle can paint for grille
My grille is showing the signs of age and the hot Florida sun.Is there a rattle can color close to OEM?1986C10

um i used silver paint from autozone. worded really well ill show pics soon

Been told im nuts to bring it back from the dead (still going to happen) plans-all stock with a turbo 292 inline 3 speed column shift. and thats it big block 427 and 5 speed trans and ford 9 inch theyhave no home yet thinking what to put them in and a 79 c60 trash truck um no idea i have one |

If you wnat to add an accent to the grille, use a can of Rustoleum "Satin Black" for cleaning it up. The paint stays black and does not turn grey in color.

I was kicking that around(satin black).The truck color being a dark silver(pewter)I have a lot of options.When I get to repaint I'm planning on same color but semi gloss/flat.I like the flat black look but thinking a color would look different and cool.Years ago had a early Ford primered purple.

i used flat black spray paint on mine. turned out OK i suppose. also stuck some mesh behind there.

my 86 had a silverish grille and there were tons of selections in the paint aisle in the local auto parts store.. i used wheel paint in a light silver to make it look factory and it turned out ok someone did the headlight bezels on my 82 i need to do the grille

thanks very much. got the mesh for 3 dollars at home depot lol. sprayed it silver and screwed it to the back of the grille. i dont have much money so im pretty crafty with stuff like that
