Oil Pressure Sending Unit...Parts Guys Please Look

I want to replace the oil pressure sending unit on my '87 305 TBI because it's leaking like a sieve, but the parts counter guy could not find it in the system. We looked at every fuel related part for my truck with no luck. Does anybody have the part # or are there any parts guys out there that can steer me in the right direction?

Thanks.

You need to look for an Oil Pressure Switch/Sender. I looked it up but cant say forsure what one yours would need. Goto Partsamerica.com then use your vechical info and lookup Oil Pressure Switch/Sender you should see everything listed. If not let me kown. I looked up an 86 and I seen what ones look normal to me. Looked at the 87 and they are different.

87-UP combinesthe oil pressure sender and switch in one unit. If teh engine doesn't see enough oil pressure (I think it is ~5psi) it will not turn on the fuel pump. I don't have a part number, but it is only one part. I am pretty sure it is called a switch, though.
