Guys, i have been looking for a lift kit for my 1968 3/4ton 2wd... and having a heck of a time finding one! Does anyone know if they even make such a thing for this truck? I looked all over and having been able to find one. Need some help finding one, thanks!

Re: Lift Kit for '68 2wd
would probably have to adapt one from a '73 - '87
does the 3/4 have leafs ? as always, a 2" body lift can top off anything too |

Re: Lift Kit for '68 2wd
you can use any 4x4 rear springs for it but the front is not the easy no kit is avalable. your best bet may be to find a 3/4 or 1ton front suspentoin to put on it. or finda set of custome coli springs to rais it some but I would think your only going to get an in or two. the 2wd drive kits for the newer trucks have raised spindals to get the lift no one makes them for our trucks.

Re: Lift Kit for '68 2wd
if he went that way he could just get the new style cross meber and all the front suspention I know some of the 2wd convertion guys use them in the 67 to 72 trucks and he could get the stuff cheap from a salvage yard.

Re: Lift Kit for '68 2wd
Look at my 3/4 ton 2wd. It has local spring shop leveling springs in it. 150 dollars per pair, custom made. It's damn sure lifted a good bit...

I have rancho springs installed. They are equiv to 1 ton springs. ball joint spacers, 3 inch body lift and 33 inch tires.
