Still restoring 1972 K-10 'BURB. Did the factory place seal sealer in the upper drip rail molding in 'BURBS like they did in trucks? Not many around my area to compare. Mine currently has nothing, seam sealer or not?
I ALSO NEED HELP LOCATING MISSING UPPER BODY SIDE MOLDING THAT MOUNTS JUST UNDER WINDOWS AND GO AROUND 'BURB. ANYONE HAVE EXTRA THAT THEY TOOK OFF OR SOME FROM PARTS TRUCK, PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE. THANKS.

Burbs had have the seam sealer too. 3M makes a good one, just do a search on the board. For the body side molding you'll want to post a Want to Buy ad in the parts section. In order to do that, you have to become a member. It will be the best $25 you've ever spent. Good luck with your Burb.

Hart Rod is right mine had the original sealer in it when i got it if you are going for that stock look the front section was almost filled right up then it tapered off to a thick bead after the front corners.Hope this helps.
