late model 6lug rims on a 67 c10

Its my first c10 its a 1967 stepside and I wanted to know if it is possible to fit 2000 silverado rims on my truck? Some guy is giving me a good deal on a set of rims. Any info would be very appreciated.

These rims have back spacing issues that require spacers for tires to fit correctly. I'm using 2000 z71 rims and use 1-1/2" spacers

retodd7711- just curious if spacers are necessary if using the 6 lug DISC conversion???. I went with new 6 lug spindles on my 70' and was wondering if any later model rims would fit.

Re: late model 6lug rims on a 67 c10

I had a clearance problem at the hub on both front and rear when I tried to install '06 wheels on my '67.
Try 'em before you buy 'em.

Thumbs up Re: late model 6lug rims on a 67 c10

you will need adapters to make them work but they definitly look nice when installed. a buddy of mine has them on his 68 and they look right at home under there.

Re: late model 6lug rims on a 67 c10

My dad just bought these because he wanted the tires for his Tahoe, so I'm going to take the wheels off of his hands and try them on my 70 with the 6-lug disc brake conversion. I'll let ya'll know what "I" have to do to get them on there.

He got them from someone on his Tahoe forum. You can find them on ebay for about 250-350 a set for just the wheels
