Looking for measurment please - dust cap
while stripping things off my truck to get ready for a drop i somehow lost my dust cap for my spindle bearing . where can i get one, or what are the measurments? i went to napa and they said they cant look it up, they need an inside and outside diameter. can anyone help? it's a 75 1/2 ton silverado. thanks

I believe the 'Zone' or any other autoparts chain carries them in the misc parts section. Look for Motormites (13977?), 'bout 3 bucks each. BTW, on 1/2-ton light-duty rotors, the caps taper from ~2.1" down to ~2.05".

good stuff. so if i go in and give them the 2.1 and 2.05 measurments they should be able to direct me towards the cap i need?

If you have 1.25" rotors, go to NAPA and tell them you need part number 730-2438. That is the part number for the grease caps on my 73 2wd...and I purchased them summer 2006 from my local NAPA. This could be the same for 2" rotors as well, just not positive.

This site has never let me down! I needed this measurement and don't have my truck. The dealer couldn't even tell me what it was.
