Re: Nasty 70 c-10 Full custom on ebay...linky
I'd give him 50 G's for the back window. That's pretty cool. To bad it's so close to Christmas. 5 kids and 9 grand kids cost to much.
Nice ride. But then again, who would drive it. Me

I've seen the truck... It's a very nice truck!! I love the back window! Dont know what kind of money he is after but I probably would have taken the $50-G's it pulled the first time around on ebay and used some of it to buy a spell checker

Re: Nasty 70 c-10 Full custom on ebay...linky
Just my $.02 The guy is a moron and can't spell for his life or use spell check for that matter, LOL and I doubt he did any of the work on the truck, I bet it was all done by someone elese in a shop. Whats he fun in having a truck if you don't at least do some work on the truck your self. I understand some people don't don't have the knowlegde, skills, ability, or what ever the limitaion, but still. But I will give the truck credit, LOL it is a wonderful truck! Like the ulitimate! But Poor people like me can only look and wish and dream...

Definatly a nice truck. I like the tan painted dash. I wouldn't think I would, but with the choice of leather/vinyl it looks good. Very well done.

Re: Nasty 70 c-10 Full custom on ebay...linky
I would trade my ability to spell, for his ability to build a truck. Not only that, I have worked for people who can't spell and they have college degrees!!
Apparently, in my experiences, spelling isn't the stopper in having a career in anything except teaching school, and I'm not so sure that even that matters any more. As proof, I work for a school system.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that was bothered by the spelling! There I was looking at pics of a beautiful truck and all I could think about was how bad the spelling was.
Chevloray... it said he had the truck BUILT, so don't go trading your ability to spell just yet!<------ Now I have to get onto myself for not reading all the way through the posts.... C10addict beat me to it!!

Re: Nasty 70 c-10 Full custom on ebay...linky
The truck was not entirely built @ Stoked Out. From what I remember, they did the finish detail work, bags, exhaust, air-cleaner, interior, wheels/tires.
They didn't do the body work, paint, or frame related items. It definitely looked better leaving the shop than when it arrived so their work was a big improvement/update. It's a nice truck but . . ...... I would recommend that anyone trying to sell a vehicle for this type of money should proof-read their ad text. Just like anything else, the details can make or break a deal. The truck has 20x8.5's w/Toyo's & 20x15's w/Mickey-T radial's last I checked. It's little details like that that make a potential buyer wary because they don't know if it's a scam (tire sizes on a vehicle of this caliber) or if there are multiple details that have been 'imbellished' & not entirely accurrate. The owner is a decent guy that prob has lots of irons in the fire. It's good motivation: I'm aiming to build mine nicer .

Re: Nasty 70 c-10 Full custom on ebay...linky
Well this is a switch. Most of the time when an eBay truck is posted, its pick apart and slam the truck time.
This time the truck is so nice ( I agree ) lets slam the seller because of his spelling or lack of spell check. Me personally, I'm a crappy speller, and really crappy with my punctuation. Just look at the eBay auction I had for the board, LMAO. After I re read it I just cracked up at what a dumbazz I am. I find it pretty amusing especially after reading some of the slammers spelling and typing. cob_ben you really should re read yours. Last edited by CG; 12-29-2007 at 05:32 PM. |

Re: Nasty 70 c-10 Full custom on ebay...linky
Yeah, the owner comes off as a goober with his spelling. So what! If everyone on this site were judged by their spelling we would all be considered illiterate idiots.
Like Scoti said, this truck is bad @ss. I would match it up against the 100k Fesler built truck and imagine it would come very close to it in quality and execution. This is the quality of truck that will take top honors at any show it attends. It is "all that".

Ouch read further "The last auction high bidder was over 50 Thousand and reserve was getting close!!!" The reserve was getting CLOSE! He didn't sell that truck at over 50Gs!!! I have a feeling that truck is not going to be sold!
