cannot seem to get any help on calipers...

There are at least two different types of calipers for 73-87 trucks. I have a '85 GMC 1500 with the heavy breaking package and a '84 with the reg package and the calipers and hoses are both different. Try taking the one that you want to match with you to the parts store and it will be alot easier to find that way. Most of the parts houses will pull some boxes for you to make sure that you have what you need.
