Need diagrams/schematics/pics for stock A/C

For a 67/68

1. Routing of vacuum lines
2. Routing of wiring harness to connectors
3. Routing of cables from heater/ac control

Thanks

Re: Need diagrams/schematics/pics for stock A/C

Those diagrams help alot, but the a/c control I have has only 2 vacuum connections in the area circled that shows 3. I assume this is a 67/68 vs 69-72 difference. Anybody have similar diagrams for 67/68 a/c setup? Or is there a 3rd port on the a/c controller I have that is not apparent to me?

In the earier versions the vacume line goig to the kick panel vacume pod is "T'd" about midway under the dash.
The T'd line goes to water shut off valve on the pass. side fenderwell. It's possible the 67/68's didn't have that shut-off valve and that's why you only have 2 ports on the back of the selector switch.

I suppose that is possible, but 67/68 has a year specific shutoff valve if I recall correctly.

Anybody with a 67/68 assembly manual or a STOCK A/C truck? If so any pics and/or explanation of whats going on with the vacuum lines is appreciated.

Cool Re: Need diagrams/schematics/pics for stock A/C

The control head vacuum switch on the 68 has only 2 connections. One from the vacuum reservoir to the control head vacuum switch and the other to the recirculated air door diaphragm (door open when vacuum is applied), this line has a tee about midway which goes to the outside air door diaphragm (door closed when vacuum is applied). the other line on the vacuum reservoir goes to the vacuum source on engine. Hope this helps will look and see if I have a diagram of the whole system.

So you are confirming what BobbyK indicated that there is no water shutoff valve? Basically one line for vacuum in and the other operates the fresh air vent on the outer cowl and kick vanel vent? Which is which on the a/c control assembly? If you can supply a pic of the diagram I'd appreciate it
