Pre-patina'd huh? Where are you in Bryant? Where did you find that truck? I'm guessing you put the wheels on it, but it looks really neat, as is. Congrats.

Re: got it home last night, what do you think?
I am off reynolds road, it was one I found in our paper located in North Little Rock. Has been parked for the past 17 years in a barn. and yes I put the wheels on this morning I couldn't take the black steel wheels with mud tires on them!

Re: got it home last night, what do you think?
Yes it currently has a 250 six banger in it, I drove it around the neighborhood earlier and it did great. I will do the engine swap last. I considered the wet sand and shop sign on the door. However, I'm going back to solid white with chrome bumpers and calling it good for now.
I appreciate all the positive comments!

Re: got it home last night, what do you think?
Looks like a nice start for a nice truck. I wish my truck had paint like that when I started. I'd probably just drop it, add some www tires and roll.

Re: got it home last night, what do you think?
MAN ! that is one clean truck !
several key thing's I like about it , #1 it's a factory custom with the custom style door panel's and the custom outer door emblem's and body trim , #2 it's solid as it can be !!! #3 I love the color it is the same color scheme as my 67 camaro the white go's good with the blue interior , that's probably the best 67 I have seen in a long time !!!

Re: got it home last night, what do you think?
Perfect truck to start fixing up, and nothing major to work on other than paint. How many miles does that truck have on it ? Also what do those old 292's get for gas mileage ?

Re: got it home last night, what do you think?
Not sure of the MPG on the 6 bangers. I drove it around today about 100 miles of puttin down the road and it used an 1/8th of a tank. The Odometer shows 11,500 miles now. I'm not sure if its 111,000 or not. Looking at the interior it makes me wonder. It was a farm truck that didnt get used much. They also had a 65 pontiac with 60,000 miles all original and it looked perfect also. I know the 6 banger in this truck has no smoke or blow by at all.
