Re: Getting Stiff
A sway bar with good bushings is pretty much mandatory. Looks like you got a good price on everything.

Re: Getting Stiff
Adding the swaybar was one of the best things I did to my truck. It was an inexpensive upgrade, and made it a lot more fun to drive. I still can't believe that the Silverado trim level didn't get one automatically...

Re: Getting Stiff
Cool. I just installed those same DJM control arms on my '86. I have a heavy duty 1-1/4" bar from a C20 to put on. Glad to see that it should bolt up.

Re: Getting Stiff
It was probably factory. What he said was they didn't standard as part of the Silverado package.

Re: Getting Stiff
This was a basic C-10.
And lemme tell ya, just with that lil add on. Taking turns are just SO sweet now! I'm telling ya ,,, if you don't have a sway bar, ya gotta get one. Now I'm going to look around for a bar for the rear. I believe in past posts, Can use one from a Z28 and some muffler clamps?

my truck didnt have on either, I pulled one from an 87 burban. I am unsure what size it is. It did make quite a bit of difference.

Re: Getting Stiff
I will be putting this on the rear of mine.
It is a Belltech 1-1/8" diameter. The part number is 5508. Should work good with the 1-1/4" C20 bar and poly mounts on the front.
