Re: My new dash

Thanks for all the compliments guys, Work has me all bogged down at the moment, as a mater of fact, thats where i am right now. I have the filler section to mate the two peices together sitting here in my office staring at me or should i say teasing me, thats why I don't have pics yet.

Re: My new dash

Thats how I feel. This is definately a one of a kind, in fact, it may be the only 68 chevy with an edsel dash. I have never seen an edsel dash in another car. Its not that often you get to see one in an edsel....lol

That is a question I have asked myself and I just can't answer that yet. I am leaning on leaving but it would be cool If I could get that peice made with the same writing only say chevrolet...

Re: My new dash

Well I have a picture now of the filler panel but I took it with my cell phone so the quality may not be as good as the last photos.

That is awesome. Extremely unique and looks good. I like the way it wraps around onto the doors.

Re: My new dash

Great work on the dash. Leave the name on it, or most folks won't have a clue that it isn't stock
Get to work!
Now!
More pics [grin]...........

Re: My new dash

I have found a couple of minutes to work on my truck. I got the filler peice trimmed and just about ready to weld in for good.

Re: My new dash

I really do hope this turns out good. The metal part will be fine, its the trim and dash components I am worried about. I think I can get it looking good though. Time will tell.
