So what did I mess up?

Truck was fine (of course) except a few lights in the gauge cluster. I took the cluster out, checked all the lights. I couldnt find any burned out lights so I put it back together. Now the generator light is on. Its kinda dim. However, its on.... I checked the alt and it seems to be charging fine. Is this the ground issue I keep hearing about? any ideas are appreciated.

Mine did the same thing the first time I pulled the cluster but it was the turnsignal lights. I ended up adding a ground strap from the metal frame to the dash & it solved my problem. So, ya its probably that ground issue.

Thanks, I will get a ground to it and see what happens. I know it can't hurt!

So I wonder why all my lights don't work.
