Er, what? VIN Confusion
I finally looked up my vin info tonight, and this is what came back:
TCY144Z510016 T=GMC C=2wd Y=V8 454 4bbl -wait, what? There's a 350 in there! 1=1/2 ton 4=pickup 4=1974 Z=Fremont plant 510016=serial # Ok, what the heck with the motor? I believe everything else, but... um...

On the subject of wierd codes....
My engine block has a TDS code on it, on the front pad behind the alternator. There isn't a tds code anywhere I can find, and i know for a fact the engine is original. 1978 c20 350sb/th400. Nobody knows... maybe one of you guys do. PS.. there is a TSD code, and that's not what I have. Last edited by 78 Chevyrado; 01-24-2008 at 12:30 PM. |
