1967 c10 shortbed
What do you think. I'm the second owner of this New Mexico truck. It now lives in Pittsburgh. I have the bed off and taking apart. I am leaving it the stock color with no body modifications. I am lowering the front 2 1/2 in. and the rear 4 in. I am going to run the stock wheels painted white to match the hubcaps. The rear rims will be 8 in. wide with 6 in. in the front. It has the stock 283 with a factory installed 4 speed.

Re: 1967 c10 shortbed
It's going to be a clean ride. Congrats. Think the 4-speed is going to be okay on the hills of Pgh?

Re: 1967 c10 shortbed
I can't use first gear for anything or I will break my neck. It goes up any hill in second though. I can only do 60 mph on the highway or the rpm's are cranking out.

That truck is a peach, and I like your plan for it; lowered with the steel wheels, cool .

Looks like you have a good starting point. I bet most people would give their left pinky for a solid rust free start. Good luck.

Re: 1967 c10 shortbed
Is it for sale? . . .
Put a Tremec .64 high-gear 5-speed in it and your problems hill climbing and cruising problems are over. Great find.
