Valve rotaters
Hey guys,
I am replacing the valve stem seals on my sbc and noticed that some of the valves have rotators and some don't. Do they go on the intake or exhaust side? Thanks, Dwayne

Re: Valve rotaters
They go on the top of the exhaust springs only

Re: Valve rotaters
FWIW my machine shop eliminated all of mine, they have a spring pocket filler to fill the gap

Re: Valve rotaters
Most aftermarket performance heads don't have them either...

Re: Valve rotaters
Thanks guys,
The rotaters were on the exhaust side but my "local expert" could not remember if they were not supposed to be on the intake side. I left them on the exhaust side just the way I found them. Thanks 1970 CST Short Wide.
