Gasket for fuel filter?

OK guys, here is my next question. Where can I find a gasket for the fuel filter on the carb? Rochester quadrajet on a '69 C20 w/350. The gasket is probably around 1 inch around....when you screw the fitting out of the carb to get the filter out, the fitting takes a 1 inch wrench. All I can find so far is complete rebuild kits. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Gasket for fuel filter?

Been there before! I was never able to find it without buying a kit. To bad your so far away I would just give it to ya. I have saved several from kits since. Try a salvage yard they my have a dead carb laying around. It's the same as 2bl carbs too.

Check with your LAPS. I can't imagine them not selling them.

Re: Gasket for fuel filter?

Ya like 68C15 said, the Help kits have a couple in the package that will fit for a couple of bucks. Got mine at Auto Zone. If I remember there the harder type gasket but work well.

I have made a couple of them using gasket material. They worked good on mine.
