Smile interior shoulder belt plastic plug?

I had my truck restored and the guy that restored my truck lost one of the little plastic plugs where the shoulder belt would bolt into the interior rear cab corner. How do these plastic plugs attach inside the threaded hole. Are they threaded too? would anyone have an origional one they could send me? I'd sure appreciate it. I have the one for the drivers side but need the one for the passengers side.Thank you everyone. Dave

Re: interior shoulder belt plastic plug?

They just push in....thus the name 'plug'. Most of the original ones I have tried to remove end up shattering in the process.

Go look at your local hardware store, I bet you can find something that will work.

Re: interior shoulder belt plastic plug?

I may have 2 become available (painted red) this weekend if I get around to installing the shoulder belts I have waiting in a box. You can have them if they come out in one piece. PM me and I will let you know by Sunday. Now I get on my soap box: Forget the plugs and get shoulder belts. Nothing sucks more than eating a steering wheel or your passenger eating a steel dash or glove box door. You never know when some one may run a red light or slide across the yellow line on a rainy day. I am speaking from experience as shown in the below photos from last month: The Ford was me ( no injuries ) when a Dodge PU ran a red light. The Kia was the ex wife when a '71 Cutlass slid over the center line.
