Re: RARE! 1972 Chevy Cheyanne Corvette model

I think you have it pretty well summed up Blue'72.

I have an original copy of the Declaration of Independence thats been modified into a business envelope. Do you think he'd take it in trade?

Re: RARE! 1972 Chevy Cheyanne Corvette model

why are they 71 doors? at least the passenger side has the little hole for the wing window brace or whatever that thing is. isnt that the biggest diffrence with 71/ 72 doors?

Re: RARE! 1972 Chevy Cheyanne Corvette model

and i love how everyones stuff is so special, not centimental because im sure alot of people even here have plain jane trucks that are wpecial to them for many reasons, but EVERYONE has a rare, one of a kind, SS corvette truck that had a LS-7 454 in it from the factory, blah blah blah.

im glad my cars and trucks are nothing special at all, they seem to be more rare than anything nowadays!

Re: RARE! 1972 Chevy Cheyanne Corvette model

Reminds me of that 31 Shebly Coobra I once had. Yeah, I hated to let [I]that[I] one go, it had the 742 sideriser motor in it, out of that special "B" model they made. You know, the '31 Boss something or other. Guy down to the liquor store liked to have dropped his bottle when he saw it, said he was Shebly's first cousin, and his brother too, and he could document that it was Carol's first car. 'Course it had been modified some, they had put the wheels off a Maverick on the drivers side, and some off a truck on the other, cause he raced it, you know? And anyway, his girlfriend Marilyn Munroe drove the first set slam off it...................

Re: RARE! 1972 Chevy Cheyanne Corvette model

Well I'll put my rare '69 long bed up for sale. It has the bed mounted to a trailer with ratchet straps. 2002 seats (very rare option for 1969), H4 headlights, CD player with SD slot (only one available in 1969)' oh and a Nuclear reactor under the hood. Only $125 but would sell through a high end auction for 5 million.

Re: RARE! 1972 Chevy Cheyanne Corvette model

Setting here thinking about it we should have got ahold of his uncle so he could tell us all about this special corvette truck assembly line. At the same time ask him why they would be lwb 8 lug trucks and why was the corvette trucks 3/4 tons, but marked as c/10's. It's a wonder he didn't put the bed is from a special rocket truck edition which of course up's the value at least 10,000. Or maybe if he would throw in the flux capacitor we could travel back in time to save it from being hit by a tree....What a load of bs. I don't think I could live with myself going on like that.

Anyone know if the Brooklyn Bridge is still for sale? I'd have to make payments though. I love how all the payments on tv are EASY payments.

Re: RARE! 1972 Chevy Cheyanne Corvette model

You guys remember the rare GMC on ebay a couple of years ago that had the "rare and valuable" 4 head light option? That's the one I will never forget.

Make sure you get that Corvette option RPO so you can start putting it on SPID's.

Re: RARE! 1972 Chevy Cheyanne Corvette model

LMAO! You know I heard one time from a guy that used to have a friend that worked for Chevy that if you take valve covers from an old corvette that say "corvette" on them and install them on any motor then you then officially have a corvette motor... yea totally awesome!

Re: RARE! 1972 Chevy Cheyanne Corvette model

I'm betting that truck originall had the Corvette IRS under it too, but that got switched out. I don't know why ya'll are questioning the 8 lugs, everyone knows it's harder to break the studs off an 8 lug wheel than a 5 lug wheel, that's why all Corvettes came from the factory with 8 lug wheels. BTW, my friends uncle has the first Corvette ever made!
