Re: when aquired how much did you pay for you trucks?
I have 500 in the 65 and 600 in the 64. Just enough good parts to build one truck.

250 for the C10; 500 for the Flatbed and 1500 for the Panel. All of which were in good condition when bought; since then, the C10s engine needs to be rebuilt or replaced; the Flatbed is still running strong, but could use some exhaust gaskets; and the panel needs the brake system looked at.

Free. Two parts trucks later and still under $2000.00 in it. Lots of hours though. Great thread, GREAT TRUCKS!

Re: when aquired how much did you pay for you trucks?
i paid $1200 for a 66' c10 short bed step side with a 283 and a three on the tree(which only works in 1st and reverse). body is straight and has little rust at least it is considered little rust in wisconsin. rockers, lower fender, about 2 square feet of the floor and cab corners need to be replaced. i just bought it and have invested any into it...yet!

Re: when aquired how much did you pay for you trucks?
Here are a few pictures of my '66 Chevy K10. I paid more than enough for this one, but I couldn't resist. She was calling my name and needed a new home. I am a sucker for the 4-5-6 Chevy Trucks and the next thing I knew, she was sitting in my driveway.

Re: when aquired how much did you pay for you trucks?
300 bucks. Ran, no taillights, front bumper or bed.
For 300 bucks, built a flatbed, installed lights in the rear bumper, and got a used front bumper. Then 100 bucks for wheels/tires. So, 700 bucks into it, 300 initial. |

Re: when aquired how much did you pay for you trucks?
Paid $1500 for my wife's 63 SWB fleet side a few months ago. Has a rebuilt 350 with KB pistons, roller rockers, th350 a very strait bed. It does have rust in the door bottoms, kick panels and some small other areas. For me the rust is nothing but she will not start working on it untill I finish a few more of my other projects I figure we will have 15k plus into it when done how she wants it. What's a guy to do Here are some 1st day pics and what she wants it to look like when done.
