Accelerator Cable question

I have two cable..one is longer than the other--does anyone know which one is longer a 2wd or 4wd?? Just want to know so I can order the right one from LMC.

I cant swear but I dont think there is any difference between 2 or 4x just engines 6cyl, sb,or bb

Okay LMC just lists them as a 2wd or 4wd--I just need to know how locate one that is the longer of the two.

4x4 is shorter of the two GM part number 06264974 list $ 25.97 sale price $19.48, take the number and go to your local dealership and get one.

Do you have the stock carburetor? This will make a difference, as well. I swapped my carb out for a Holley and needed to buy linkage that I could trim to make it work. I ended up buying a Lokar cable and trimmed off what I didn't need.

I have a 2wd cable for the stock Rochester Quadrajet that I'll send you for shipping, but it may be a few days since I had knee surgery on Friday and am not moving too much right now.

I don't have a stock carb...I have two cables...I have the long one that would work except for the fact that it is all cracked and hard to slide. Thanks 71 Super...if the 4x4 is the short one I will get the 2wd one from LMC.
