Re: Looking for a change:

Get the steelies in a 16 or 17 if you can afford them. Since you can't lower it a ton, you can make the difference up with wheelwell gap with a larger tire/ rim.

If you decide to go with 15's, paint them black.

And, go grab these bedsides!!

Re: Looking for a change:

thanks dsigh, I think i know of a few places there I can get one for a bit cheaper and in better condition. I just haven't had the time or money to do so. I think i can get a whole shortbed with a semi-working 305 for about $500 or so. ill probably just get it and use the bed and a few other parts off of it. but thanks again for keeping me in mind and finding those for me..

Re: Looking for a change:

I would say it depends on the look you want. Personally I would drop it a little more and put on some chrome 18's or 20's.

However, if you want the white walls I think the second pic gives it a old school look, but the white top gives it a more old timey look. Neither are bad, just depends on what you are going for.

Re: Looking for a change:

Its all your personal preference, but the modern bed with white walls seems a little off to me.

Re: Looking for a change:

well, after income taxes come in, im making an LMC purchace, and the big mirrors are gone. and i just sent 3 e-mails off to some people about some beds. i'm definately going to change the wheels, i work at a trailor parts store and can get some nice paintable rims and moon caps like in the pic for little to nothing. so i'm going to do that and paint them red. possibly go up to 16" but no more than that. then i'll make up my mind about the white walls and white top. that'll be a ways down the road anyway.
