Please help Centerline wheels and rear adaptors Who knows which sizes to use
I'm finally going to order some tires for my truck (285-50-20 for the rear and 255-55-18 for the front) doing 18x8 with a 5.0 bs and the rears are 20x8.5 with 5.4 BS but the outside to outside measured with is 20x9.
Should I run a 1.0",1.30" or 1.5" Any advice would be helpfull. right now I have 295-50-15's on the rear with 15x10's

I'm a little fuzzy on why you have to run adaptors??

I bought 1.25s for mine, but yours may be different. I would bolt up the wheel(it should fit) and break out the tape measure.

Why are you putting such a huge tire on the back? If it is going to be lowered a 275-45-20 would be plenty big and give a little more clearance

Re: Please help Centerline wheels and rear adaptors Who knows which sizes to use
There is almost an 2" exact difference between the front and rear over all dia. I live in a rural Texas town and runing the 255/55/18's on the froont should help protect my wheels. I am trying to keep the same sidewall look with a 2" difference from front to rear overall dia.

The adaptors are to increase the rear backspacing for a better look. without them the 5.4 bs just a personal preference.

I'm with gringoloco,... Just bolt them on and see how much the wheel can come out,... and not rub anywhere.

Re: Please help Centerline wheels and rear adaptors Who knows which sizes to use
The 255/55/18 and 285/50/20 are pritty common sizes and seem to be reasonable in price.
